Embest Devkit8000 Evaluation Board was released last May and well received by customers. This board is using TI OMAP3530 ARM Cortex-A8 microprocessor. It takes full features of this processor and supports 128MByte DDR SDRAM and 128MByte NAND Flash as well as high-speed USB2.0 OTG function. The board has exposed many other hardware interfaces including RS232 serial port, LCD/TSP, DVI-D, S-Video, Ethernet, SD/MMC, keyboard, camera, SPI, I2C and JTAG. It can support both Linux and WinCE system. Embest also provides demo of Google Android OS and Angstrom (GPE) for user experience. Embest has continuously released more function modules for this board as well as debugger tools Available function modules now contain analog camera module, VGA module, USB WiFi module, GPS module, GPRS module and 3G module. XDS100 USB JTAG emulator which is compatible with Code Composer Studio (CCS) V4 IDE and can be used for debugging Devkit8000 is also available from Embest now.
