Embest Info&Tech Co., Ltd. introduced another high-end ARM development platform based on Intel XScale PXA270 processor after its release of PXA255 board last year.
Embest PXA270DB evaluation board provides an ideal solution for PXA270 development on WindowsCE 4.2, which allows you to quicken your market time and save cost. The board takes full features of Intel XScale PXA270 processor which is able to work at up to 520MHz. New features of PXA270 processor like Wireless MMX™ technology and Quick Capture technology has greatly enabled the high-performance multimedia technology handling capacity of the board. Its SpeedStep®Power Manager technology provides a quantum leap forward in low power operation, while maintaining the highest levels of performance per contra.
The board is with a flexible design using a CPU board and an expansion board and easily for users to update and upgrade their boards. It includes a 3.5” TFT LCD and a wide range of interfaces including FFUART (Full Function UART), BTUART (Bluetooth UART), SD/MMC/SDIO, CF, UART for TTL, LCD, Power, USB, JTAG, Audio, Camera, Keyboard, Bus expansion, etc. The code support package with this board includes WindowCE 4.2.net BSP and even a well-round and steady-going driver source code. The board can be fully used for different development requirements and applications like PDA, TPC, PMP, audio system, fingerprint identification, car navigation, media play, industrial control, etc.
