European distributor of embedded technology, SDC Systems Ltd, has announced the appointment of Peter Heyes as Sales Director. SDC provide embedded software, hardware, tools, training and consultancy to engineers across the UK and the rest of Europe. Peter will be responsible for SDC's sales across the UK and Europe and has many years experience within the embedded design and EDA sectors having working worked for software tools provider AMC, Wind River Systems, Montavista Software and IKOS Systems.
"The success of SDC can be attributed to the range of innovative products that we are introducing into the market and the expertise and experience of the SDC team. Peter has become an important part of this team, so it´s a pleasure to be able to appoint him to the board", said Stuart Parker, Managing Director of SDC Systems.
SDC's embedded products include embedded hardware from US technology leader ADI Engineering, Virtual Platforms from Virtio, SDL/UML Modelling tools from PragmaDev and a broad range of embedded software products and tools from Metrowerks, MQX Embedded, Encirq and Kozio. All SDC's products are supported in-house with expertise spanning a range of operating systems, hardware platforms and development technologies. This enables SDC to offer completely integrated platforms and training that enables rapid product development.
