Ayer, MA., Hybricon Corporation announces the release of a new line of Pac-2000 front panels designed for excellent EMI shielding combined with superior mechanical performance. The front panels are constructed with continuous elastomeric, conductive foam gasketing along the edges rather than the more common construction employing metal teeth. This design provides excellent EMI shielding while eliminating the problems of snagging, breakage and scratching of adjacent metal surfaces which are common with metal-to-metal construction.
The panels are offered in widths of .8" (4HP), 1.2" (6HP), or 1.6" (8HP) and heights of 3U, 6U or 9U. An assortment of handles is available including:
Ø Fixed handles for VME/VXI applications
Ø Various IEEE 1101.10/11 compliant injectors/ejectors, including standard, hot swap, and low profile versions.
