| Hillsboro, Oregon - April 30, 1998 - RadiSys Corporation (Nasdaq: RSYS) today reported revenues of $33.7 million for the first quarter ended March 31, 1998, a 21% increase from revenues of $27.8 million for the like quarter a year ago. Net income for the quarter declined 9% to $3.1 million or $0.39 per share (diluted) compared to $3.4 million or $0.43 per share (diluted) for the first quarter of 1997.
