| BittWare Research Systems Names Industry Veteran Gerry Clancy Vice President of Sales and Marketing
CONCORD, NH - March 30, 1998 - BittWare Research Systems, the industry's number-one provider of Analog Devices' SHARCÒ DSP solutions, announced today that Gerry Clancy has joined the company as vice president of sales and marketing effective immediately. Clancy is responsible for leading all sales and marketing functions for the company.

In his last position at Mercury Computer Systems, Clancy as Sector Manager of Air Force Programs, was responsible for strategic planning and business development. Prior to Mercury, Clancy spent two years at Sanders, a Lockheed Martin Company, as the Program Area Manager for Integrated Electronic Warfare Programs. Clancy spent nine years at General Electric Corporation as Manager of Electronic Warfare Programs and held responsibilities for new business development, strategic planning, and program management.
Clancy has also served eighteen years in both active and reserve duty with the military. He is currently a Member of the 157th Air Refueling Wing as Chief of Intelligence, where he is responsible for an eight person intelligence operation.
Clancy earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire.
